Asylum - leaving a country in fear of bad things happening to your life because the bad actions going on in your country
900 Jews took a boat to various countries in 1930s seeking for help but got turned down by all of them. They all have to return to europe and get scattered among different countries but the nazis end up taking over most of europe meaning that most of the jews that were rejected all died or were put in nazi death camps.
